I hadn't looked until now but my small cap value index fund (AVWS) is up +6.5% last 1 month while the normal market cap weighted index fund (VWCE) is only up +1.5% in the period.

I always like it when the small cap fund outperforms because I'm rooting for the small guy, but also I understand that market cap weighted indexes absolutely hate rotation. They need the big hitters to outperform to deliver results.
Maybe not good for the market as a whole.
