The issue is that everyone was brain washed to forget labor is a resource. This idea that unlimited immigration and globalization shouldn't be resisted at all has done nothing but destroy the middle class, as expected and intended. Labor was made cheap from oversupply and so wages died

of course after becoming wealthy at the expense of its citizens, the elites now have to contend with the reality that western societies are all consumer economies with a broken down consumer
