I always find myself having a better time here than I expect, and there was more than one fairly active thread for this con last year with a surprising number of people attending so figured I'd make a thread this year.

Eh, if I'm not mistaken, last year the thread made the day before the con ended up being active, so not too concerned. Do hope people are going though, last year I went alone and had a surprisingly great time, in part due to gulls having gone.

I'll be going, I'm retiring my nostalgia critic cosplay though and opting for just wearing an indie animation shirt.

I ended up going, getting stopped at the door because I had a bag, going to walk it back to my room, and then accidentally passing out there since I’d been up for 30 hours. They better have fuckin AMVs playin when I go tonight tho.

We didn't realize this con had a maid cafe until the last day. They were doing a armor workshop thing and we made keychains. Pretty cool.

got a picture with a bunny girl at the con, was pretty awesome but I'm fairly sure she was just being nice and grossed out by my presence. still fun con

This was my first con in like 5 years after being bored with how swamped colossalcon got when anime became for normlords, loved it! So many kind and fun people.
And, space to actually move around freely! Woo!

It's no humongous party like Colossalcon, which, in a way, is a good thing really, but it's usually a good time. Personally had a less fun time this year but I also mismanaged my time and went with someone who killed the vibe a little for me. Was also a little disappointed I didn't see any gulls like the previous year, that's always interesting. Next year I'll prolly just solo again.

Con was fun this year. Shoutout to that Shiki and Fujino I saw in the parking garage. And the Bojji/Kage duo.
