Back in the day (mid 1980s) We never had all day pubs and the first in our town would open at 6pm, we start there and do our pub crawl until about 11pm when pubs would give 'last orders'
We would then head to the Indian order some beers (usually Cobra) with Poppadoms and pickle dishes until our meals arrive.
Picrel is about right, looks like chicken tikka, a madras of some sort and some naans.
Then we would head onto the local nightclub for late night drinks.
