Why did I buy this shit?
What the fuck do I make with this?
The only thing Pinterest came up with was some weird Saudi meatball rolled in seeds. Seemed like kind of a gay dish so I'm looking for ideas.

You should’ve gotten sky camel instead of ground
Anonymous No.21400757 >>21400780
I would just make meatballs in tomato sauce. Camel sounds like it's really lean so mix in some ground pork.

But if I mix pork in I won't get the full camel experience. I wanna know I'm chewing on some hot camel otherwise what's the point?
I thought about inviting over some buddies and making burgers or tacos and just not tell them until after they take a bite.

I don't want to say, but it was $35.
I noticed it came from a "venison" distributor so there's a fair chance some guy just hit a deer with his pickup and packaged it like this to fool pretentious retards like me.
>>21400761
Just like the sheiks intended, I plan to cook it in hot sand for a fully authentic experience.

you can make with it anything that you would normally make with any other ground meat. you don't need to follow some specific recipe written specifically for camel.

I would just make some kofta, serve it with pita, some veggies and hummus or tzatziki.

Now I have to get camel hump too?
Where the fuck do I find "culinary rose petals"?
Anonymous No.21400795
>>21400791
>camel hump (or butter)
it's just saying to use some kind of fat, because the meat is lean.
if you don't have rose petals just skip that ingredient.

you don't need to follow recipes so rigidly man, they are suggestions you're not doing engineering.

You're not going to find a lot of recipes for camel because it's not a super common meat, especially in the english speaking world. So what you'll find will be pretty niche. As other anons are saying, don't get so hung up on following a recipe, it's not that big of a deal.

Is it illegal, or just illegal to import? It could be domestic camel, someone might have a farm. Anyway who cares.

This is one of the most on-topic threads on the 'log right now.
I'd make Asian style dumplings out of it. I once made Bolognese with ground lamb and it was similar enough that you wouldn't notice unless you were specifically trying to focus on the lamb flavour.

Your post made me laugh mid-bong-hit and blow water up through the stem. Great job.

Cook a little of it with some salt and pepper and get an idea of what it tastes like. Then maybe add it to a meatloaf or something if you think traditional camel recipes seem too gay. If you paid a lot for it being exotic, maybe keep searching recipes.
There's gotta be more than just Saudi Seed Balls.
Pinterest is for women.
