I can't fucking afford beef all I can fucking buy is minced pork (cheapest kind), leftover chicken (cheapest price -- have to wait on sales), fried tofu (plenty and taste good but not much protein) and eggs (good but I dont wanna eat like 4 per day)

every fucking day it's a stir fry for me with either one of the few seasoning styles I got (japanese curry cube / chinese five spice + dark soy sauce / indian curry powder / sweet n sour / fake ass korean flavor cuz I can afford seasame oil but not gogujang or whatever the fuck it is). I always have to cheat with flavor by adding tons of shallot/garlic/ginger/onion/whatever herbs I can find. I'm a fucking failure of a cook. oh did I tell you the only carb source I reliably eat are rice (cheapest kind) and instant noodles (also cheapest kind)? I often do some mental gymnastic before eating pretending my rice is japanese and my noodles come from korea

get me out of this fucking hellhole

I'm also thinking about visiting KFC at 10:15pm (right before closing) so I can steal their used and scraped chicken bones and take the meat or skin out and re-fry them at home. the bones can be used to make stock or whatever or just distribute it to the local stray dogs in my area and make them friendly to me

It's okay, anon. Probably stop eating pork, though.

food bank
churches

You were already considering dumpster diving or petty robbery, not sure which exactly by that KFC comment, but either way just asking people whose job is to give away food is a better alternative to either

why? is it because I will OINK OINK like a pig?
>>21408521
it is cheating. I cannot cook proper delicious and balanced meals. I use excess flavor. it's like one when dumps a ton of curry powder then say "I made real, authentic curry".

>>21408526
thank you for suggestion anon but I live in 3rd world. no food bank. churches hate me and actually rarely give free food at all unless im certified homeless.
I will resort to BOTH dumpster diving and minor stealing to survive. it's my life nobody cares about.

ah. good luck out there shitskin thirdie. try not to starve, and remember if you're in a densely populated city, going without food & water is better than risking badly contaminated food and water. Especially water

Are you sure? where I live, minced pork and chicken are not the cheapest prices in the grocery, nor are eggs. The bargain would be to buy a whole pork loin, and section it up on your own into chops or roasts, even mincing some of it in a food processor, which I do for homemade breast patties, and for stuffing dumplings/won tons.
Packaged sausages, like kielbasa or italian sausages are always cheap food, as are dinner sized ham slices like whole pan sized portions, which is nice for soups and casseroles, and ground beef is just fine for prices as long as you buy 3lbs or greater. 10 packs of chicken breasts at Aldi is about the cheapest thing you can buy.

Eating asian all of the time is how you can get bored. If you are relying on rice, then you need to mix it up, making caribbean rice and beans and one skillet dishes like arroz con pollo, dirty rice, jambalaya, peas and rice w/coconut milk. A $1 bottle of sazon goya or lemon-pepper blend rather than only asian stuff.

Eat more pasta. Pasta is cheap and delicious- you also won’t notice much difference between ground pork and ground beef in a meat sauce

I'm lucky because I can afford to buy brisket, chuck, pork shoulder and chicken thigh cutlets
I thought I was the poor one for not being able to afford steaks

What country do you live in?
And if you are that miserable why don’t you just pack up a bag and go sleep on the streets?
I did it. Walked away from my life and slept in a city park for 3 years, best decision I ever made.
Not only is everyday an adventure, but it gives you a genuine sense of independence from the system.
Or keep living in Groundhog Day with no food and hoping things will get better (they won’t).
