Recently I've been making lahmacuns. You are all dumb fucking retards with 0 knowledge of outside world so I'll explain: IT'S LIKE A PIZZA BUT DIFFERENT

The difference is it's really really thin AND you can cook it in a dry pan. You basically make dough, let it rise, roll a ball out ON PARCHMENT REALLY THIN then put THE PARCHMENT WITH THE DOUGH on a dry hot pan.

After a short while bottom of the dough gets baked and you just flip it and pull the parchment off and nothing sticks or burns and you get a piping hot leavened flatbread without any hassle with the oven or anything AND YOU CAN MAKE WET DOUGH AND IT WILL STICK TO THE PARCHMENT BUT IT DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE ONCE THE BOTTOM IS COOKED IT UNSTICKS

Now the basic topping for this is mince and sauce and vegetables but I've been cooking a bunch of those every day for a week now and I'm bored of that. I need TOPPING IDEAS that are NOT FATTY because I DO NOT LIKE FATTY TOPPINGS and I EXPECT YOU PROVIDE ME WITH IDEAS in exchange for THE PARCHMENT PROTIP

1. Marinara sauce
2. Part-skim mozzarella
3. Pepperoni
4. Olives or mushrooms
That should turn out well

it's not really, although I've seen it advertised as turkish pizza very often

>I need TOPPING IDEAS
just look up pide toppings and use those. you might need to make your dough a bit thicker though. if you want another protip, get a stick of butter and rub it on the lahmacun when it's fresh out of the oven

I like that it's dry and crispy. And oven is stupid for lahmacun, a pan is best. And pide is puffy and thick so it uses different toppings that will not work on lahmacun. I don't care if you're turkish you don't know anything about lahmacun obviously.

I used to stop by a little store that sold these but one day I got one and it was moldy so they clearly just kept it in the fucking unrefrigerated display all fucking day and night. Completely ruined my trust of "freshly made" food from small ethnic businesses.

No thanks. I'll be getting a Costco hotdog from now on.

Lahmacun is yummy OP! Here's some stuff that I add:
Kebab with sweet chili sauce and salad and garlic sauce
Or shawarma with salad and garlic sauce
Optional: add feta cheese to your salad
Optional: throw a slice of cheese on the lahmacun before you put it in the oven. But that does make it a bit more fatty I guess.

>muh fatty
Get chicken filet kebab/shawarma or make it yourself. Go easy on the sauce or just forsake it entirely if you gonna add feta.
