ehh it's pretty much just going to come down to personal taste, everybody's list is going to look different. the most glaring thing I see here is that Thailand should be way higher imo. I'd put it in top 10 personally, but at the very least higher then the fucking Phillipines.
France should be higher too, in the top 5. I'd replace india with it.

The entire list is invalidated by India even being on it. This isn't a list of best cuisines, it's the list of retarded memes and marketing and immigrants.
The only reason Italy is number 1 because everyone likes pizza, so Italy must be the best (nevermind that Italy didn't invent or make the pizza you are familiar with)
Japan scores high because uwu kawaii ugu sushi baka gaiji uwu
Mexico is so high because this is 100% an American list. Americans were polled and they said Mexico either because they are Mexican immigrants or because they are woke leftists.
United states is so high because Americans were polled and some said their country is the best.
China is so high because of the fake ''Chinese food'' invented in America
Ukraine even shows up on the list because there is war in Ukraine.

It's just a complete shitshow.

It's Indian food + meat. It's also generally spicier than North Indian cuisine and less sour than south so it's kinda the sweet spot for me.
All I know about Bengali food is this girl I used to know whose family are Bengali talking about the stuff she ate growing up. Lotsa seafood, she said, but I've never actually had anything Bengali except these frozen samosas we buy that are imported from there and they're really quite good.

>its essentially just an upgrade over German cuisine
No essentially about it. It is an indisputable upgrade. I think that the problem here is that the poll was po angielski IE the majority of the respondents are monolingual anglos or anglo-cultured people. Anglos notoriously talk out of their arses about every topic imaginable. They are Dunning-Krüger in cultural form. Most, especially Americans, barely ever, if at all, travel to other countries and the few who do go on tourists' groups or spend their entire time abroad at a resort and therefore are entirely unknowledgeable about the place they've just visited.
For example, this lady >>21417527 thinks Italian cuisine boils down to spaghetti, which is actually not terribly common in actual Italian restaurants at all.

Nope. One of the hallmarks of anglo culture is exoticisation. That's why foreign branding is so effective in Anglo countries but less so elsewhere. Haagen Dazs was started by some American in Brooklyn but he figured giving it a foreign-sounding, made-up name would give it a veneer of exoticism and respectability. Had he named it "Brooklyn's Best Ice Cream" it wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is.

Switzerland doesn’t have Free healthcare whatsoever, at least not in the sense of it being free like in France (paid for by taxes and the massive gulf in the coffers).
They have to pay monthly and they also have to paid a certain amount for their surgeries which depends on how much they pay every month.
My step dad and I had the same surgery, I paid a big fat 0 and he paid 4000CHF.
Regardless their wages are much higher than here so it doesn’t matter that much, granted it’s becoming worse and worse every year. But at this point, what country doesn’t become worse.

Stolen from around the Mekong Delta. Old style sushi with the fermented fish is Lao in origin and entered Japanese cuisine through trade.

How many times do we have this thread and therefore how many times do I have tell you that it's bullshit? I know this for a fact because England is in 29th place and Romania is 22nd. YET I've had sex with multiple Romanian women and their cuisine is worse than England. They make good women food like cakes and general baking, but overall its a lot worse than England. However, they're sexy as hell, real women... I would probably only smash Moldovans, Lithuanians, Latvians and Polish, now, apart from Romanians. Those are the best women, with Romanians at the top. But they cannot cook a savoury meal.

Cheesemaking has been a thing in South Asia since the IVC period over 5000 years ago. That's the whole reason cows are sacred to them. Those smelly brown people have likely been making cheese since before most of us in Europe have.

Ok then, tell me of some non-paneer Indian cheeses. Not Tibetan, not Nepalese, not something hyper-regional by a specific minority but an actual indian cheese.

Do the Portuguese even make any acid set cheeses?
I don't know enough about Mughal cuisine but the fact is, there's as much evidence for cheesemaking in the IVC period as there is for cheesemaking in Poland 7000 years ago: pottery fragments with milk solids and milk fats in them.
Paneer is the simplest cheese on earth and Indian cuisines among the simplest, relying on simple techniques to cook (boiling, fermenting and grilling and pretty much nothing else). It's not some stretch that they would add an acid to milk and strain it, especially not since there is physical evidence that they did exactly that.
>>21421754
>tell me of some non-paneer Indian cheeses.
Don't need to. That wasn't my claim. Why would I bother to defend a point I never made? The claim is simple: smelly brown people have been making cheese for 5000 years and there is evidence supporting that claim.

Its a stupid list full of stupid shithole countries that have never contributed anything to humanity let alone developing a cuisine. Further along this line, If we're being entirely fair the list should most likely be ethnic groups an not country which would cut it down to 25 and most.
I hate to break it to you, Austrian and Hungarian food is the exact fucking same. Random middle eastern glob, is the exact fucking same. Yugo splinters are the exact fucking same. Etc.

>Do the Portuguese even make any acid set cheeses?
Most nations have one or two variants, but the theory goes they introduced the idea of cheese/wanted cheese and it had to be made in line with local religious requirements. Though apparently that might have been chhana while paneer was the mughal variant.
>I don't know enough about Mughal cuisine
Heavily influential in the north-east particularly. A lot of the indian dishes thought of internationally are Mughal in origin.

>Paneer is the simplest cheese on earth and Indian cuisines among the simplest, relying on simple techniques to cook (boiling, fermenting and grilling and pretty much nothing else). I'm sure there were regional instances of it occurring and in general where India does exhibit cheesemaking it's hyper-regional and often by religious or ethnic minorities in the north (east) and clustered around early european ports. But similarly I'm sure someone probably made something vaguely resembling pasta once or twice in medieval Sweden since it's a basic dough but that doesn't make pasta a core part of Swedish cuisine.

>The claim is simple: smelly brown people have been making cheese for 5000 years
In general sure. The specific smelly brown hindu people not really.

Bullshit. Using your measures, they eat about 160lbs of meat per capita annually. Compare that to meat-loving Germany's per capita consumption of 114lbs of meat per year. You're just fat and can't fathom a meal without 12 Big Gulp sodas, 11 burger donuts, 10 chicken tendies, 9 sausage pizzas, 8 shakes a-milking, 7 meatballs swimming (in sundee grevvee), 6 'sgiving turkeys, FIVE ONION RINGS, 4 chili bowls, 3 large fries, 2 roasted hogs and nary a veggie in sight.
