True. Italian immigrants invented pizza in America and all the main pizzas are American. After the success of the pizza the Italians were coping and came up with a new pizza and claimed it was the real way to make a pizza and anything but that is not authentic and inferior.

I hate the French themselves but French cuisine is pretty good. I had escargot once and wasn't impressed, snails are really bland and lack any flavor, it's like chewing rubber. Then I got upset when I learned later on that instead of removing the poop from them the way you take the vein out of a shrimp, they just starve the poor fuckers for days before killing them.
