Time for some oil on toast. MmmMmm.
>>21422396 (OP)I worked for an old Italian specialty foods shop and every time they got a new olive oil they would do this and pass it around. I can hardly imagine anything more disgusting.
>>21422410Yes I'll broaden my perfect EVOO horizons with sawdust Kraft cheese and dried chili flakes.
Olive oil makes my balls hurt
>>21422436This and also I might add: TSD.
>>21422396 (OP)Rub it with garlic first, didn't forget salt and pepper.
>>21422573Better to rub it with garlic, then tomato and finally the EVOO
>>21422396 (OP)Do Italians really do this? I hope one of our hero fighter pilots takes out another ski lift.
when I was in romania they offered bread so I accepted
but then they brought a loaf of bread and I was retarded and didn't know how to eat it without butter so I just left it there
Actually based. I discovered this way too late.
>>21422396 (OP)I do this all the time. I like to bake a little rosemary into my bread and this winds up being a really good combo. Top notch snack.
and old mediteranian men wonder why they are so fat
>>21422698Olive oil is good for you.
>>21422705not in the amounts italians consume it, retard
>>21422705im spanish the way my revlatives consume it they can go through a bottle in a day or 2 all the older men in my extended family are fat as shit
>>21422708That depends on your diet. I have 2-4 tbsp a day and I actually went from having cholesterol issues back to being healthy, but I eat mostly lean protein so I'm not ingesting a ton of fat. Putting a tbsp of olive oil in a small dish and dipping a slice of bread in it is in no way unhealthy.
>>21422732Oh and as per my doctor, the cholesterol culprit was corn syrup. Don't ever drink soda.
>>21422738remember to get your covid booster!
The olive oil dip or whatever at Carrabba's is fucking good.
>>21422753I did, I was the only person at work who didn't get covid funnily enough. (no one else got vaccinated)
You know what. I find oil enhances any food experience.
>[how could it, it doesn't have any flavor!]
That's the thing. It may not have flavor of its own, but when combined with other foods, it makes them pop. Try simple spaghetti, al dente, with only just a smattering of tomato sauce, but with generous dash of olive oil. It causes you to literally inhale it. How will you describe the taste or flavor? You can't. But you just want it more.
