my school had a Filipino foreign exchange student and he may as well have been a rock star because he was instantly the most beloved person by everyone but we also bullied some white autists into trying to hang themselves in the bathroom so I guess it swung both ways. this was before kids required iphones to chew and swallow so weird kids definitely got their lives destroyed at lunch time. but whether you were fucked with or not depended entirely on your personality and not what food you were eating.

I'm a working class wagie so whenever an ethnic person brings food in everyone has always been curious about it. Some Indian dudes at work fed some nuclear curry to a white Timmy one time and his face almost melted off. I think food snobbery as an adult is a white collar thing for people with too much time on their hands. I would never bitch about someone that needs to have my back 20 minutes later. My coworkers are my teammates.
