>>21430816Yeah, it's toned down from the book (and, honestly, pretty damn mild by today's standards of psychological horror) but it's competently done, with good actors, production, score, etc and that alone puts it in the top tier of King adaptations.
One thing I also remember is in the book there's a line like "everything she cooked came out tasting strangely industrial, as if years of eating in hospital cafeterias had corrupted any culinary talent she might have once had". I guess the Spam might be a nod to that.
