What do you do with these?

Are they meant to be an ingredient or eaten on their own?

They're called "cocktail weenies".
Obviously you serve them with cocktails.

Maybe before Hollywood movies normalized uncouth and boorish behavior like shaking martinis instead of stirring them.

Throw them in the trash, feed them to your dog. I guess you're supposed to eat them on their own but they're just too awful no matter how much i try to hide their flavor with other food, hot sauce or whatever. Their texture is vile.
Anonymous No.21432241 >>21432251
i like them because you can eat them with a toothpick

What is the texture/flavor like? I imagine they'd be mini-hotdogs.

No. They're extremely, disgustingly soft. The flavour varies brand to brand but basically watery spam or watery canned ham.

Whack. They should do a mini-hotdog version. Baseball stadium style.

Soft and slimy but still kinda floury. It's definitely one of the worst canned foods i've ever had

Why? Mini hotdogs are already a thing and I don't mean Lil Smokies. I mean legit, honest to goodness miniature hotdogs. And there are multiple brands.

Well I'll be damned.
Are these legit? I don't have much faith in Danish to make a proper American hotdog.

Nah, gotta give it to the danes they actually make good sausages for the most part.

I don't know. I've never had or even seen those before. I was talking specifically of refrigerated mini hotdogs. Nathan's makes some. Hebrew National does, too (I think).

Ingredient? In what? No. Those are for toddlers starting on solid food. Or take them on a picnic. Eat with saltines and mustard. They're two bites at the most. You like them or you don't. I grew up on them so once in a while I get a hankering. Avoid the ones in sauce. Super gross and a tough outer texture. And the sweet sauces are nasty. The normal ones the fluid is only good for if you want to save half of them in the can overnight. I'm sure some weirdo drinks it though. I usually open a can, eat between two and four with mustard, and give the remainder to the dogs.

Best use of these is with beans - aka beanie weenies. They need sauce though, on their own they suck.
