2/10, grim but technically edible

Yours looks dreadful!

But if you follow a basic chicken tikka masala recipe it's decent, good for end of month where you can't afford meat but still want to eat india

sorry I feel bad for telling you it looks dreadful, it's usually nice to focus more on thickening the sauce so it doesn't end up as watery, and maybe add a little cream to get it more saucy

smash the chickpeas next time, it would improve the consistency, also adding one floury potato would also help

you switched the chicken for chickpea? would give it a try. our local indians chicken tikka masala sauce looks more red. it looks like pure tomato sauce.
rate my haul (yes it's cold, but i want it that way

No such thing.

Americans can't even make a simple curry.

It's fine. But it's not chickpea tikka masala.
It's chole chawal
It would be better if you cooked down the tomatoes, onions and spices to a sauce first before adding the chickpeas. Like making a pasta sauce, a low and slow cooking time gives the sauce deeper flavour.
Garnish with fresh coriander and some sliced red onions. Maybe squeeze some lemon juice on top!

Looks pretty good, although the crust seems a little too smooth. Do you always prefer your pizza cold?

>Do you always prefer your pizza cold?
i prefer my pizza warm. in this instance i had the opportunity to buy a deep dish pizza @ pizza hut. it took me about 2h to go shopping with a friend and to drive home. it was late and i decided to put it in the fridge and reheat it next afternoon. (it's really hot right now and i don't want to sweat all over the day)

>Chickpea Tikka Masala over rice.
Chana Masala is the term. It looks kind of runny anon. Like you just dumped a can of tomatoes in the pot. Next time use the back of a spoon to blend it a bit, smash a few of the chickpeas or simmer and reduce longer.
