Shifts too much. Haven't had a rusted chestnut since Christmas so that right now, otherwise, probably pistachio. I don't think either are actual nuts so cue the autists.

I like the honey nut, I think they use those in Cheerios.

Over the past 14 months (been doing it longer than that, but this is when I started purchasing exclusively this brand), I’ve eaten about 45lbs of almonds. Pretty autistic/OCD behavior, always have 3 handfuls of them for breakfast every day on the way to work

but my favorite are cashews

My favorite are unironically brazil nuts. I just love how big and crunchy they are, they're so satisfying to eat. Sucks that you can't eat more than a few a day due to selenium toxicity.

Second favorite are hazelnuts.

I like roasted salted pecans the most, but it's not like there's a bad nut.

You've clearly never had pine mouth. If you eat too many in one go, you develop the inability to taste anything but horrid, bitterness and it lasts for weeks. Even plain old water will taste bitter. It's said that only certain species of pine nuts cause it but that isn't quite true. It's just that certain species are more likely to cause or require smaller amounts to trigger pine mouth but every single species can cause it.

Butternuts are a nut. Butternut squash is not a nut. Butternuts are also known as white walnuts, one of two (that I know of, unless hickory and pecan count; they're both in the walnut family but aren't called walnuts) species of walnut native to the Americas. The other, black walnut, makes for delicious ice cream when it's not committing crimes.

Chestnut but they seem super expensive now. As a kid I remember us getting big bags of chestnuts and I loved having them raw. If I get some land I’ll plant some chestnuts and hazelnuts

I like to order Brazil nuts from black people bc they know the real name and they know I know the real name

Fried peanuts, but I eat them rarely and in small quantities because they bloat the fuck out of you if you go overboard.
