Is this a nutritious lunch for a boy in school? I buy him one of these in the morning or drop it off warm during his lunch period if I am free. He wants money to eat in the cafeteria but I am worried he will spend it on cookies and candy. This would have made me happy as a boy.

To be fair, it probably costs more to buy a $5 footlong from Subway than it costs to get a whole rotisserie chicken. I don't really see anything particularly wrong with the idea, ASSUMING that the chicken is not the only food you are giving him for the entire day, every day. Your kid is going to hate rotisserie chickens when he grows up.

1. Get the lemon pepper one if you can, it's much tastier
2. Pair it with some hot sauce, a bottle of milk, and some fruit
3. Cut it in half and put the other half in a plastic bag for tomorrow
You now have peak lunch nutrition for a growing boy

Maybe tell your kid to offer the extra meat he doesn't feel like eating to other kids, like to add to their sandwiches or something. Might not necessarily be the sort of thing you're going for, but in the military, sharing food with others is a way that people tend to make friends.

Quite often I'll get six chickens from Costco and bring them home to feed my gf and daughter. Two chickens for each person but daughter doesn't usually finish hers (no matter how much I demand).

That comes out to 30 dollars or so usually. Try doing that at a restaurant.

You sound retarded as fuck but I like this retarded as fuck thread concept, because there is no way the person described in the posts (retard, likely single mother, with a school-age kid, and schizo about candy and video games) would actually post on 4chan especially a slower less well known board like this one. Zero, ZERO chance. Anyway if true (no point in posting other than to engage with the thread as-is) then what he is trying to do is be normal and not get bullied through no fault of his own because his mother is a retarded freak. On the other hand, you sound like a foreigner living in america, so i hope he is bullied because then he will become incel at minimum and possibly a suicide statistic which is good for the overall demographic outlook. So by all means, please, keep it up with the rotisserie chickens.

they jacked it up to $11 2-3 years ago during the post-covid price hike when they realised they have no competition, literally no-one else makes sandwiches.

I don't know if he is popular but he has friends. He is not on a sports team right now. He likes to sneak candy. Sometimes I think he is athletic and healthy only because we pay attention.

Sorry if I created a misunderstanding but it is not on my way for my workday to take half of the chicken home with me. It would go to waste if I were to do that. Plus I would not have another container to carry it.

These all taste like crap now at every grocery chain that sells them. The text and flavor are all completely off. They either taste like watery sponges or dried urine. They don't make them like they used to.

By the time I was in high school I never got lunch money. My parents would always say that my options were to pack my own lunch from food we already had at home, use my allowance that I got from mowing the lawn and doing other chores, or get a job. What I ended up doing was just eating what other people were just going to throw away. "Hey you gonna eat those green beans? How bout that corn, do you want the rest of your fruit cocktail?". On a rare occasion I got a chicken nugget or 2. Its amazing how much money people are willing to waste then just throw away. To this day I cannot stand wasting food.

I'm not sure it'll last until lunch, but I mean if it's not every day then definitely. There's far worse things they could be eating.
