They're both good, though on their own I think the 3rd contender, shrimp, is the best. Lately I've been making some killer meals out of the beef ramen, by mixing in some egg when it's done cooking and then adding steamed broccoli and fried up thin-sliced beef and mushrooms, and topping with green onion, oyster sauce, and sriracha.

They have plenty of uses beyond eating straight out of the bag, using in cole slaw to add some crunch for one. My mom likes to use two chicken packets for noodles and salt in her broccoli cheese soup and it's good.

I use the beef packet, I do it in a small nonstick pan with a small amount of water, the goal is the have minimal water at the end. Just enough to coat the noodles, a little left at the bottom of the bowl is best. Use the whole packet, dash of garlic salt, fash of red pepper, put some deli meat in there. Perfect.

Of those 2 I'd pick beef, the chicken has always tasted strange to me. However I'd prefer pork.

It used to be pork but decades ago they stopped selling it in my country and I don't fucking understand why. I miss it so much.

Even when I was high off of my ass this was a sad compromise. I'd rather soak them in the hottest bathroom sink water for an hour and make that work. And when you're a stoned teenager and you can't be making food in the middle of the night because you're being stealth, you have to look into those prison options. It's more fun that way though. Still, prefer to cook the noodles.
