I respect mortadella, I like it. Thereโs no better meat to fry. You fry it up, throw some ketchup on it, and itโs the best fucking food in the world.
>>21463895 (OP) >fry it up, throw some ketchup on it I mean, this is what we do with spam, taylor ham / pork roll, bacon, hot dogs, etc. the moral here is that pig is good fried and with ketchup
I've never had it I ate fried bologna sandwiches a lot as a kid and I still have them every once in a while now, this looks like about the same thing as bologna so maybe I should try it
>>21464649 I've never had any respectable bologna, just oscar meyer lol. When I was a kid it was that cheap ass bologna with french's mustard on mrs baird's white bread. Pretty white trashy but it's nostalgic. I should really try something like in your pic with some quality mustard and bread.
>>21464661 My brother and cousins would make bologna boats all the time and eat them without bread or anything, like these but with shredded cheddar. I never tried them because the idea grossed me out.
>>21464653 If you like Oscar Mayer Bologna you will love Wunderbar Bologna. Here is a recipe for a fried bologna sandwich https://wunderbarbologna.com/recipes/fried-bologna-sandwich/
>>21464636 >>21464686 The main difference between common mortadella and common "baloney" (AKA "Bologna sausage") is how badly adulterated it is. Things marketed as baloney are hot dog and Spam tier. But mortadella is somewhat better. It's not just oversalted pink slime. It's smoky, not stuffed with salt and bullshit, and is pretty nice.
