sounds like a local issue not a bear issue. I've lived around black bears for years and the most you ever hear of them doing is knocking over a trash can and it's big news around town when it happens. They're afraid of humans or just don't care about you at all.
Of course we allow bear hunting here (Idaho). And it's the gayest kind of hunting, everyone sets up bait barrels and sits in a tree stand, or has $20,000 worth of hunting dogs chase them until they're too tired to run anymore then shoots them while they're cowering in a tree. All for an animal everyone says doesn't taste very good. How many fucking rugs do you need
