Mexico is now the world leader in instant noodles.

What's the true verdict? I always see them at stores but haven't tried them.

Instanoods are the only junk food I eat with any regularity so trust me when I say that these noodles are fucking awful.
You ought to be ashamed.
That said, I'd be happy to try any other Mexican ones you might recommend but those just aren't very good.

Let me put it this way: I saw them BOGO at Dollar Tree. I went in there to buy cheap popcorn (where else am I going to get popcorn kernels a buck a pound?) and saw they were selling them 2 for $1.25. I guess the store bought a bunch, nobody was buying them and they needed to make space for the better stuff. So I bought one, tried it and want much a fan.
If ever you're at Dollar Tree, they've a store brand, Norita, that make a decent instant tonkotsu, just be sure to remove all three seasoning packets from the bowl before adding water.
They used to carry Twisted Noodle Company but stopped last year in my area. They're surprisingly good AF for a noodle made in Wyoming or one of the Dakotas or wherever they're based

I miss the crab and lobster ones. I lived in the US in the early 90s, my dad came home with both one day and they were by far my favourites. We moved back to yurp then when I returned in the later 90s, they were discontinued. Fucking shame.
Of the stuff available now, those Raoh ones are the best. I stocked the motherfuck up when GrossOut had them for 33¢/pk last year. They're usually $2something each

Except I've actually seen white Mexicans and personally know one who is strawberry blond with green eyes. They don't generally cross the border into Lardmerica because they're doing fine where they are. The brown ones go to Fatistan out of desperation. If they were living a decent life in Mexico, they'd stay there.

So the concept of nationhood was based on being able to assimilate different peoples.

That depends on the country. It's no so clear cut. Paraguay for example has no Euro elite, nearly everyone is mixed. The only Euros you can find there are poorfag mennonites that live in their religious communities.

In Argentina lots of elite types tend to be criollos (castizos of colonial roots) whereas most Euros joined the middle and upper middle class. Working class are either brown or meds. But this is a general trend and not an absolute rule, you can find blonde blue eyed people in all social classes even trashy ghetto type people like vid related, a white nigger. And upper class browns. There was a lot of social mobility particularly in the past.

Latin America is not monolithic, some societies are quite stratified and some aren't as much but regardless of that, Pedro Pascal emerged from Hollywood so it's not really related to anything.

There's a Mexican restaurant in my area owned by a Japanese Mexican couple. No, it's not that one is Mexican and the other is Japanese. They're both Mexicans of Japanese background. You're supposed to mix all the seasoning/oil together in a bowl and add the noodles after you drain them. That's part of the reason why Indo Mie are better than other noodles: the flavoring is less concentrated because they don't have to take dilution into account.
