>>21478716wisconsin people often have a massive inferiority complex with regard to comparing themselves/their culture to the rest of the world. This often manifests as them losing their minds in a childish narcissistic rage any time any comparison at all is made (or not even being made) between them and the outside world. its like they really can't face that theyre a bunch fat mindless alcoholic xenophobic bigoted npc hicks such that any feeling of insecurity experienced upon interfacing with other cultures/the outside world is immediately coped with by converting into something along the lines of "wisconsin is better than everywhere else on earth. we're the best people around, everyone else is inferior." But the overwhelming majority of them have never left wisconsin, let alone lived anywhere drastically different, especially outside the midwest. To most wisconsinites, the entire world is basically wisconsin, minnesota, and illinois. everywhere beyond that is another planet.
Imagine a person who has only ever drank bud light for beer. They've never tried any other beer before but are totally absolutely convinced that bud light is the greatest beer on the entire planet. Theyre so convinced of this that they wont even look at other beers, let alone consider trying them, and will turn aggressive, angry, and rude at even the slightest suggestion of the existence of other beers. Yet they couldn't begin to tell you why bud light is the greatest or explain their point of view. This is how the average wisconsin person is about everyone/everything that isnt from wisconsin.
this place and people are seriously mentally fucked up and its not a coincidence everyone is an alcoholic because any sane sober person would go absolutely mad having to interact with these people on a regular basis.
watch wisconsin people try to make weak ass arguments with me. or just straight up ad-hominem because they dont know how to meaningfully communicate or express a point.
