It's supposed to be aromatic, not very tasty. So when you eat your fresh, warm food the steam carries bayleaf's scent trhough your nose, while the tasty food enters your mouth, enhancing the flavor. Pretty much like your mom getting pounded while swallowing nigga sperm, anon.
