Is real meat worth it with how good ethical alternatives have gotten?

>ethical alternatives
They are all shit. Fake meat is a failure. If I were vegan, I would just eat vegetables. Hell, I have had a a black bean and mushroom burger before that I thought was good on it's own accord.

I went to a buddhist restaurant once. The chicken pieces in the stirfry were made of mushrrom or bean curd or tofu or something, but they had the taste and texture of real chicken scraps. Quite impressive.

When that dude bites into the chicken fried watermelon it sounds so good. The crispy coating the the succulent juicy watermelon meat. Fuark.

They were likely made from wheat gluten (fancy name: seitan). They have a texture very similar to that of chicken.

Ethical alternatives are still mostly shit by pretty much all metrics. We're almost there though, lab grown meat will soon be better and more accessible than the real deal.

lab meat is weaponized slop, just to mention some of the stuff needed to grow lab meat are:

Soybean hydrosylate (cheapest source of Aminoacids)
Immortalised cells (aka cancer cells)
Antibiotics
FBS (Fetal Bovine Serum)

>b-but think of le hecking wholesome animals
the FBS required to create this fucking nu-aids is done by harvesting the blood (specifically from the heart) of a bovine fetus, so one way or another you need to kill the real deal to make the fake garbage

seriously never touch lab grown meat, is literal cancer meat in steroids

Real meat is still worth it, but not sustainable. At the same time, trying to find plant protein alternatives you like is worth it meat prices continue to rise. Or until lab grown meat becomes commercially available.
