I felt the same. Then one day after a lot of yard work in the summer, I simply craved it. I went and got a case of the some shitty domestic lager (might've been Natural or Keystone, can't remember) and sat there in my garage enjoying the hell out of it. Branched out from there and I can say that I haven't had a beer since which I haven't enjoyed. So basically, it tastes disgusting until it doesn't.
