How long until the FRENCH CHADCOS globally replaces the legacy Mexican taco? Looks like it already happened in Germany and Japan
Probably never since they're not tacos. They're more of a burrito. Those dumbasses don't even know what they're cooking.
>>21480095Can't you read? It clearly states you're buying a tacos
>>21480104No, I don't speak french and I don't care what the french do.
>>21480104 "protect and serve" is written on the sides of police cars. sometimes you can't trust what you read.
>>21480109"French tacos" is written in English and this picture was taken in Germany. There's not a word of french in that picture.
>>21480114Why would you assume that that sentence is directed at you tho
>>21480115So its a bastardized mexican food pretending to be french is cooked up by a german?
>>21480122Globalism is a mistake. I'm going to olive garden for some authentic lasagna.
>>21480084 (OP)It's not French
It's arabic migrants who mostly like and cook those. It's pure slop
>>21480084 (OP)Who thought of this? I think Italian ones would've been better.
>>21480282It was invented in Vaulx-en-Velin, it's literally a produit du terroir.
>>21480084 (OP)This is just the grilled stuft burrito from taco bell.

Be for real
>>21480354To be fair what else do we have? Galettes would be one but motherfuckers sell a complète for 12€ a pop and you have to sit down anyway. If I need quick eats I'd go get a boulangerie sandwich but we need warm food, maybe we can import the tavola cadas from the ritals.
>12.5€ for some wrapped tendies
who the fuck buys this?
Actually had them in Japan. Taste-wise, they’re not bad, just underwhelming and closer to a burrito.
>>21481876Pommes is german for fries, for frittes in french
>>21480456>What makes them French? The arabic retards who call a taco a burrito because they watch too much US movies.
>$12 for a grilled stuffed burrito
Lmao what a grift, what is next...Dubai Burritos for $75?
>>21482217Simpsons did it already. Wagyu gold flake burrito with saffron rice, and all kinds of other dumb expensive ingredients.
>>21480084 (OP)They’re so fucking terrible that it makes me upset.

So n Kauderwelsch, schreibts in DEUTSCH, was ist "MEAT"????
Also only women will buy this, men will either get a LEBERKÄS or DÖNER.
>>21480084 (OP)I know that fastfood prices have gotten out of hamd recently, but that shit is more expensive than a premium döner in down town Munich.
>>21484018This """french taco""" thing just seems like a retarded doner more than a retarded taco anyways.
These niggas visited the US and went to Taco Bell and thought "we can make that back at home and sell it for 4x the price!" Lmaoooo
>>21484384tbf this is Kinofestival Munich
>>21484387Even Döner looks more like a taco, they should call it sack-o
>>21484551>Kinofestival Munichoh boy I bet they show real bangers like Swindler's List and that orange-man-bad Mickey garbage
>>21480095>two days lateBut seriously, I lived in France and they used to be a guilty pleasure and goddammit all if I didn't miss them to be honest.
>taco>ground beef protein>medium cheese sauce and tabascoHOLY FUCKING SHIT I'M DROOLING
It probably wasn't that good. It cost a bit much. But just let me sink into this nostalgia and pretend it was THAT fucking good.
>>21480084 (OP)>12.50€ for the "taco">8€ for saucefuck off. fastfood is becoming ridiculous.
>>21486609>does it actually say that?>checksThat's pretty fucking weird. O'Tacos was great for me (I'm the anon above you) and it only cost 8 or 9€ for a large "taco" which was almost the size of an iPad. Has inflation really gotten that bad or something?
>>21480084 (OP)Uhh that's been around.
They're called grilled burritos
>>21486616things went to shit after covid and yes inflation is very bad. stagnant wages as well.
>>21486642Oh no. I meant I was living (studying) in France during Covid. It cost 6.5 or 7€ for a medium taco. But if OP picrel is recent and not just some schtick place that's a crazy price for just a "taco"/grilled burrito. To me, it's quite balanced between satisfaction and quantity per price so I would say it's worth it unless it really is 12 fiddy now.
>just checkedIt's an ok price. Picrel isn't so recent. It was a year ago. I'll follow up with a photo of the L tacos.
It's actually the XL taco. Because of the XX grill lines, you can kinda see it under the wrapper but I'm not sure how big it actually is. Still, a human can only really fit an L in their stomach and, like I said, it may not be /ck/ approved but if you're ever visiting France and there's a well run french taco joint it's not a bad idea to try maybe. At least, it was my guilty pleasure.
