Food poisoning things like that are anomalous and yet people like you will "have a friend" and a story that will warn everyone they know for the rest of their lives NEVER to eat Subway's tuna 'cause this one dude almost died. There's no way they could have traced it back to that sandwich anyway, unless multiple people had it happen and then they'd shut the location down.
