About to go to mcdonalds for a late night snack run. Should I cash in my 6000 points for a double quarter pounder and get a large fry or do the $5 hot n spicy mcchicken value meal? (comes with 4 mcnugs, small drink, small fry and h&s mcchicken btw). Both end up being about $5 so price is the same. some of my points do expire in august tho

And that's a terrible argument anyway. McDonalds uses the absolute cheapest possible meats. Ever heard of 'pink slime'? That's the stuff they use for 99 cent burgers which they now charge several dollars for. If I knew that fast food "high-end" burger was made of a different pink slime than a value menu burger, I'd just feel all the more disgusted by the entire franchise, not be excited for that "better" burger. I just would never eat there again. Which is why I don't eat there at all. Because I know what goes into that stuff and how it exploits everyone involved for the shareholders' benefits.
