Brazil was the last country in the western hemisphere to ban slavery and thus a majority of the people there are some degree of black. Largest African diaspora in the world is in Brazil.
Sometimes I am surprised by the ignorance Americans have of the world. They are not Mexicans anon they are Brazilians.

A lot of Mexicans have a surprising amount of African heritage as well. The (((Spanish))) made it a goal to mix every slave race they came upon in an attempt to create some kind of ultra pawn for the empire. >beaner

They really don't. Spain enslaved Native Americans and Filipinos but not much when it came to Africans. They preferred to use the natives. Now the Portuguese that ruled Brazil loved negro slaves. And so did the French, who ruled Mexico for about a hot minute. But the vast majority of slaves throughout Mexican history were Indios.
