I feel like I have a special relationship with each of the UberEats drivers that deliver to my house, do you? Today Ezekial is delivering me chicken nachos and a refreshing Horchata. Olay!

I have honestly never, not once, ordered delivery.
How do you know the delivery guy's name?

I recently had a terrible back injury and I was absolutely fine having my literal whim of gourmet dinner cravings delivered on demand by UberEats right to my door. I get it. The drivers are very sweet.

I wouldn't make it a regular thing without overordering to assure planned leftovers though. The charges are pretty excessive.

How did you get them from the door if you had a back injury?

The apps personalize your experience, "Kathy has picked up your order...Kathy is outside your house..."

The point was getting in and out of my own car was pain. Transitioning to and from the couch, to and from the shower, to and from the bed...nearly impossible. I was also medicated beyond safe driving skills :/

That sounds… weird. Not sure if it's good or bad but I guess it's no different than the bitches at Chili's wearing nametags.

I see. So you dealt with the momentary pain of transitioning from seated to standing and back to get your food, got it. I hope you had a grabber or something. I can't imagine bending down to pick something up would be pleasant with a back injury.
