I tried making ice cream with real breastmilk. You have to skim a lot of fat off the top to ensure it's fatty enough. I used a custard base and it did not taste much different from regular vanilla ice cream that I've made. I made some of it with a chocolate swirl, and I screwed the swirl up. Overall I wouldn't recommend it. I fed my kid some breastmilk butter and it was not especially interesting to them. I ended up finding a mom who couldn't make enough milk to take all the excess milk.
