I have one like 4 minutes away. Burgers are pretty decent for the price but their fries are awful. My California fag friend hyped them up to be great and ordered me the animal style fries but they're just doughy and bland. I'd rather go to mcdick or wendys

The burgers are legitimately better but the fries are just awful. I get it they use real potatoes but they must not soak them or something terrible goes wrong at some stage.

In n out has been praised by many professional and renown chefs and culinary figures, including Julia child, Anthony Boursin, and Gordon Ramsay. I don’t see anyone at those levels ever speaking up about any other fast food burger joint, just saying..

Out of any of the national burger chains, I’d say I prefer Freddie’s over anything else. Something about the audacity to serve people shared beef flakes with pickles cut length wise, mustard and American cheese shows balls.
In and Out is on the level of Whataburger for me: a solid 6/10, if we’re putting McDonald’s as our 5. It’s like… marginally better, but it does the job. Same with their shakes. I hate the cult around In and Out more than In and Out itself.

Wendies and Burger King are both below McDonald’s for me. I remember when the chicken fries at BK came out, without fail I’d always find bits of plastic in them. Maybe it’s because I live in a shitty part of the US but it’s just inexcusable, even for here.

In-n-Out burgers are some of the best chain fast food burgers (for the money) that you can get, especially if you get the burger animal style.
That said, the fries are absolutely subpar, and contrary to popular belief, getting the fries animal style doesn't "fix it", it just makes it worse.
