Stuff that incorporates things like beans, rice, potatos. Be sure to get some vegetables if you cant get fresh get frozen. Look for cheap chicken like thighs or get a rotisserie and use the leftover bones etc to make stock which can be used for more things. Pork is still cheap.

My fridge has:

> fresh egg
> hard-boiled egg
> lots of whole carrots, celery, broccoli

If you are totally broke and have no chicken stock, or even storebought you can do it hobo mode and use a couple chicken ramen seasoning packets in your water. Its not as great but it does work. Ive done it. Im a hobo.

Corned beef hash an egg and maybe a banana. Or a cheap third party multi vitamin if you cant afford fruit or vegetables.
It's what I have been doing and soon egg might be off the affordable side of things since I don't have a nearby farmer anymore

Pound of ground pork
Pound of pasta shells
an onion
some chicken stock.
You brown the ground pork in a pot, and when it's almost done add the onion and cook it in the rendered pork fat. When The pork is done and onions translucent you pour in the shells and enough stock to cover everything. Simmer for the cooking directions for your pasta, adding more stock as it starts to look dry and you get a cheap easy starch heavy meal. Yeah sure you can spice it up, add some crushed red pepper if you're adventurous. Maybe even some greens. But there you have it. Best served eaten right out of the fucking pot like the animal you are.
