Pic is a bit too fancy. The steak looks thick, almost like chicken breast. It looks deep fried, vs pan-fried in cast iron. Also, the green beans look crisp tender and obviously steamed. Nuh uh. WTF the Tabasco. A greens lover would have hot pepper vinegar to douse the greens. They should be overcooked with ham hocks and onions in the pan or else actual collards turnip or mustard greens. I'd pair it with fried okra, green tomatoes, a squash casserole, corn souffle, but no "southern" meal would be complete without an additional vegetable. It's at least 3 on the plate silly. I'd have some stewed tomatoes or hoppin' john, or simple sliced ripe tomatoes with a sprinkle of salt. My grandmother would have quickly blanched the ripe tomatoes to remove the peels before slicing.
