For me, it's the humble baloney sandwich. Cheap, utilitarian, delicious. I prefer mine with a schmear of miracle whip, american cheese, and fluffy white bread (crusts removed). I have eaten one 5 times a week for the last 34 years.

Best sandwich I ever had was a street vendor in Germany. It was a steak sandwich that was rolled like a snowcone. Hot and not greasy with a serving of fries.
