Did you buy anything else or have the receipt? If that's the only thing you got I doubt you'd forget walking out with it. Left beside your car or on top? Eh... sounds like you need more liquor anyways since you buy in small amounts. Might as well go back and ask. Mine knows me by heart and always has a few cases in the corner that the kid can load up on a dolly quickly.

Maybe I remember it wrong and I was just looking at the vodka bottle at the store.
Anonymous No.21529998
If you buy a case at a time it's alot harder to forget and you can keep it in the fridge or freezer and it won't dilute your drink as much. Also save money sometimes and you won't be going out of your way every few days to just get a single bottle. Saves you money and time in the lomg run.

I'm sure they exist because this is a big world but I've personally never had a drinking buddy who was like that. I do alright, I just try to be economical and if anyone remembers my posts in the past I always advocate for abstaining drinking the next day and drink some ovaltine in the morning and eat good fresh nutrient dense food throughout. I know some people I guess are not capable of that for financial/laziness/biological reasons but I know I couldn't have lived as long as I have consuming a little less than half a 1.75l bottle of rum every other night and owning a multimillion dollar ranch.

If you can, drink every other night if you really like to drink. I've never felt the need to drink the very next day. I'm dehydrated still even though I drink water after I drink throughout the night. Well, wish you all the best. Try not to drink every day. After many years of life I am pretty darn sure you need a recovery day.

I just don't really see a point in moderating, if I'm only having a few drinks then I'm just going to feel mildly shitty and sick and consciously feel my intelligence and memory slipping away a bit without the benefits of getting plastered and actually being able to escape my emotions and thoughts for a while. What's the point in that? It just doesn't make sense to me. Would rather just stay sober.

Going back in person connects your face with the transaction, and your stupidity may come across as charming. They could have mercy on you. Make up a story about how your guests were upset that you left the one thing they asked you to buy. so you know for sure you didn't have it.

Go ahead and offer a tip or make an additional purchase if it goes your way. Offer to compliment your honesty to management, if they wish. You do have some other recourse to further complain if you think it does not go your way and you have a respectful ability to insinuate the dishonest worker actually slight of hand and intentionally scammed you on purpose.

Hey kid, and I say kid as you can't be over the age of 25, but once you get a little older and life starts to wear down your body, your hangovers get worse with less alcohol. I know it sounds crazy but you'll get to the point one day where drinking 2-3 beers will be enough to ruin your next day. At that point, most well adjusted adults find other things to do besides drink unless it's a celebration or a significant moment worthy of a drink or two. The immature loser thing to do when you're older is use drugs and alcohol to mask your issue as opposed to dealing with them head on and working through them, you don't want to be that. It's not so much about unable to keep it moderate for most adults but a matter of not wanting to deal with feeling like shit the next few days after. You'll get there one day kid, but for now, sit back and learn to listen a bit.

This is a cope people who don't take care of themselves tell themselves. My hangovers are the most tolerable they have ever been. If you workout regularly and drink water while drinking and throw down some B-complex before going out drinking then hangovers are super managable. The only thing you can't get around is not getting REM sleep which you can alleviate the next day with a nap.

No shit but putting on kiddie gloves when it comes to addiciton and constantly telling people its not your fault gives them an easy guilt free way to always relapse. Rather than swinging people from one extreme to the next we should assign accountability and encourage moderation. If you don't think abstinence education for sex works why the fuck would you think abstaining from alcohol is any different.

i wish there was. i've had nights drinking only vodka, only beer, only wine, only whiskey, mixing any of the above. it just does not matter in my case. trust me, i've tried to isolate it to a particular kind.

>What have you discovered medically speaking? Prediabetic, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver disease, anything discoverable in your blood markers? Have you had terrific and recent checkups?
haven't had a checkup from a PCP in 10 years. probably should, i know it's good practice but at the same time i've been in great health.

>Is your DNA asian or native populations?
nope, typical american white

>Are you drinking on an empty stomach typically?
i'll usually do that to get the party starting, but i've had times where i've eaten then drank a lot shortly after, still doesn't matter. only thing that remotely matters in this context is the amount i've drank. if i get drunk fast but then back off just as quick and go to sleep, almost no hangover in the morning.

>Are you around smokers or smoking?
i smoke only when at concerts and with others, which isn't that common. trust me i know how horrible that shit is for you. haven't smoked a cigarette sober in like 15 years.

How well do you consume antioxidants in your diet or supplements?
don't drink tea/coffee anymore sadly, i'll have daily supps of vit D (B when hungover), fish oil, NAC, multivitamin once/week.
