Northeastern Anons, I need your help. If you remember this product and can give it a real name please speak up.
For years upon years I've been trying to find out what this juice unused to drink as a kid was. They always sold it at ShopRite, and it came in a handful of different flavors, all """fruit""". The best one was green, and blue was good too. I kind of recall there being some sort of pulp floating in there? Basically it tasted like Hawaiian Punch, but it was in these big Tampico-esque jugs, and all I remember is the different cartoon dinosaurs on the label, drawn in like, simple picture book style.
I wonder if it was a ShopRite generic brand or something, but it was always just called Dinosaur Juice for me and my family. This was around the turn of the century, I don't think they sold this shit after 2001.

I never liked squeeze-its. Even though my parents complained about them being overpriced, they were too small and gave seven year old me acid reflux. Likewise the barrel hugs my diabetic grandpa would have with his lunch.

Back then, I preferred the Hi-C fruit punch and was addicted to it for a while. A couple years later I'd discover packet Kool-Aid and Flavor-Aid. Way cheaper. Loved the orange flavors and didn't need to use too much sugar.

Hug barrels were gross to me too, and it's weird that I can remember that exact acidic/sugary burn in the back of my throat from a Squeeze it even now. Maybe because they were so small I didn't get too bothered by them.
Hi-C Poppin Punch was all I ever drank at BK as a kid, that shit is so good.

Why did all these brands go out of their way to create weird sub-brands as if they're some kind of private label scheme?

If they wanted this product not to have the Totino's reputation attached to it, why put the Totino's name on it at all? They could have just made Jeno's a more premium oriented brand or something.

Jeno's was a separate brand before being sold off to Pillsburry just like Totino's. I think they just wanted to retain the same customers before the buyout.

Also, Jeno's pizza rolls predate Totino's.

I'm from New England. In the late 90s there was a potato chip brand that had an extra spicy ripple chip that came in a golden bag and they were in every ghetto convenience store. I can't remember the name or for the life of me find the chip through internet searches. I'm fairly certain it wasn't Utz but I'm not entirely sure. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talmbout?

What part of New England? Northern NE and Southern NE have access to more Canadian and Midwestern/Mid-Atlantic brands respectively. Might help narrow it down.

It was definitely not Cape Cod chips. I did think it might have been Utz but no amount of searching for a spicy ripple Utz in a golden bag from the late 90s has yielded any results. As I recall, it was a shiny metallic golden bag with red writing and the chips were rippled, red, and very spicy. This was around 97 to 2000.
