There was a video of him cooking for his kids, one is allergic to eggs and he didn't clean the pan out and I commented that there's a risk of cross contamination with the eggs and then he replied with a 3 paragraph blogpost about how I shouldn't talk about his family and it's personal business

I say this as someone who is like 60-70% on board with this dudes politics- this guy is a mediocrity. There's a reason he seethes at Ramsey, Pierre-White and even our humble Uncle Rodger: he's mediocre and he knows it. Gordon and Marco have Michelin stars and are name checked as great chefs from everyone from real chefs to normies and non-h'whites. He's a white dude from California who pretends to be a POC for clout. His only noteworthy contribution to the culinary arts is doing reddit-tier overthinking and "le epic science" branding for techniques that any 2 year line cook knows intuitively. The reason he rages at the chefs better than him is that he knows this. The reason he rages at Uncle Rodger is because someone outdid him in playing up Asian heritage for clout. In 10 years, no one will remember Jimmy Alt.
