Mayo and streaky bacon for a butty is wrong. Mayo is fine with a BLT, though I'd still put butter on the bottom, but streaky bacon gets too crisp for a good sandwich if it's the main ingredient.

Maybe, it's also a lot better if it's cut thicker instead of the cheap thin cuts. I still don't think it works correctly in a butty though. As a topping on a cold sandwich streaky bacon works fine but bong style bacon is halfway towards what burgers would call ham which is better when its the main ingredient in a hot sandwich. Better fat:meat ratio with the fat concentrated on the outside so you can cut if off if you're a faggot or cook the fat until crisp (leaving the meat as non-crisp) if you're not.
