i really like smokey deenz, i mostly just eat them out the can, but they are really nice with snome chive cream cheese on a salty cracker

I like mine with jalapenos or black pepper in olive oil. In hot sauce isnt too bad. Not really a fan of deenz in mustard or tomato sauce.
Also, fisherman's eggs is a delicious breakfast recipe. Try it out

I've tried a few different brands and I gotta say, the Japs simply do fish better than the rest. I highly recommend trying nissui brand deenz with rice and kinpira gobo.

So far ive made a jalapeño whitefish dip. Was great on crackers. Today for lunch I had chunks of the whitefish on rye toast with cream cheese lemon and dill. Tonight im going to grill a couple of filets I have with lemon and creole seasoning. If I have any left ill probably make a salad for sandwhiches. Unfortunately I probably won't have enough to deep fry any. Not sure what ill do with the trout though.

I've only ever fried them up in a pan with a little garlic and chili flake, then added pasta and lemon juice. Granted the le fishe was packed in olive oil so I didn't have to add my own, but if they're just in hot sauce you can omit the chili flake and add the olive oil instead

I eat em with rice usually but lately i've been making pasta and tossing a can in along with some onions, garlic, mushrooms, etc. The olive oil its in is perfect cause you dont really need to add any extra oil to the noodles. Some cans will also come in a tomato/oil sauce already which is perfect.

King Oscar is just a better packaged and presented Chicken of the sea. It's literally the same mushy sardines, but for double the price or more. Disappointing.

I don't like bigger deenz, at least not when I buy cheap store brand. They smell funny and the texture isn't as enjoyable. Didn't think there would be a noticeable difference.
