I gave up on these after seeing too frequent empty taquitos.

Is there any common brand of frozen taquitos that actually has solid ingredients inside and not just a brown sludge?

I don't think I've ever seen one with brown sludge. All the ones I've tried have stringy beef.

It would be nice, if true, but it doesn't even look right in the picture. It's just a brand's attempt to similate the hot foodie trend of the moment.

A birria is the epitome of handmade, so I doubt any machinery in ye olde factory assembly line can do it yet.

A birria should be a pan-griddled shredded cheese crust masterpiece finished on a oiled cooktop to order, not just about the simmered meat filling inside, but also the dip filled with the the au jus pot liquor.
