Depends on the chef and people running it. Pictured looks like a temporary "pop up" resturant event.
I bought a World of Warcraft cookbook back in the day, and made zero recipes from it.

I wouldn't just seems like a way to overprice mediocre food

Whenever I see a themed anything, a restaurant, anyone in a superhero costume etc. The only thing I can think of is "what if these people got into an accident or a fight" and how awkward the entire thing would be instantly

I feel the same way about licensed t-shirts honestly.
You see some dude in a Legend of Zelda / Pikachu t shirt you know damn well he's not fighting anybody, ever.

Conversely, if you see some dude in a Ford t-shirt he'll start a fight at the gas station just for fun

I would probably want to if the theme is something that I'm personally fond of
Sadly most of these places are overpriced

hehe. That got more prevalent during covid for icky menus no one wanted to touch. When I go to a restaurant now, and get referred to a QR code drink menu, I state, nevermind or continue asking verbal questions. I'm not going to use my phone in a restaurant without real just cause.

BASED. They use those QR code menus as a trojan horse to:
1. install cookies on your phone which will increase the number of ads you see for that establishment.
2. start guilt tripping you with how you could be "saving" money if you install their app and eat there all the time to build up reward points.

I want this to be a single business transaction. I don't wanna fuck around with their games or the promise of any future transaction.

It's similar with metal band shirts, the guy wearing a Burzum or Mayhem shirt is guaranteed to be a pussy, the guys fucking up the pit are in Megadeth/Metallica/Exodus shirts or just plain clothes.

All the stupid shit like Hooters or themed restaurants just detracts from the quality of the food. It’s always a distraction from how bad the food and service is
