The humble ham and cheese sandwich, the one that has saved many of your nights. Have you thanked it yet?
Anonymous No.21542444 [Report] >>21546301
yeah absolutely
been starting to use tartar sauce on them instead of mayo and mustard and it rocks a lot harder than the standard style
in my work cooler i bring the tartar sauce separately from the rest of it so it doesn't sog up prematurely

>The humble ham and cheese sandwich
I want this on a roll, and the sandwich heated until the cheese melts. If it was leftover baked ham, I want the ham seared in a pan, then put into better bread, maybe some rye with mustard.
If I had the cheap bread pictured, I'd be looking for the raspberry jam next, so I can morph the whole thing into a monte cristo.

I just ate 2 for breakfast and it was disappointing. It’s almost never as good as I imagine to be before I’m eating it. The times it isn’t is when I’m basically just making a grilled cheese with a little ham and onion as topping (a melt if you will)

I find two pieces of bread each on these things to be way too much. I've started having them open sandwich style with just one piece and it feels a lot better afterwards.

You need to use better ingredients. I love using havarti cheese instead of standard cheese. Makes it very creamy and nice
