why does costco US keep pushing shitty sandwiches, the shitty nu-chicken bake, and shitty salads while costco CA gets tendies and fries/poutine? they'd sell an unreal amount in the US, and they used to sell buckets of chicken wings apparently? no combo pizza, onions for the hotdogs are a rarity and the meme cookie isn't that good either. costco needs to go the disney route and just start increasing membership costs to price out some of the poors.
i'm only 2 hours from the closest costco on the border i kinda want to make a trip up there just for the tendies what other shit do you leafs get up there that we might not have?

I want to know why they can keep adding bullshit but can't bring back the combo pizza or the polish dog.

the tendies look pretty good too. just sell these by the bucket w/fries they'd move just as much as the pizza does

pretty sure US costcos don't have fryers, kinda hard to serve tendies and fries without them

brilliant observation there buddy. yes, it would require installation of fryers. i'm so glad we could work that out.

>Individual slice of 'za is $2.59.
>Whole pie is $12.99.
Huh? Why would anyone ever get a single slice? It's close to a dollar more per if you buy them individually... what the fuck.

these were okay but i think they serve the exact same purpose the cookies do, which is exclusively to be cooked frequently to almost constantly put out the scent of them to lure people in to eat at the food court.

the individual slices are bigger than the slices they cut the whole pies into. the whole pies are cut into 12 slices the single slice pies are cut into 6 slices.

the tendies are actually pretty good. but yeah this looks about identical to the costco near me.

I'm probably not gonna get it again because the hot dog/pizza price is too attractive but it's a pretty tasty sandwich

Same reason why Costco membership is cheaper in many non-USA locations: competition.

USA costco is strong and established, while Costco in other nations have to compete with many of the local corporations. That's why Costco has nicer things in non-US locations to attract more shoppers.

USA shoppers will come to Costco even with shit food court options, so Costco doesn't give a shit. Food court items don't even make them much money so why give a fuck. They will put only 2 workers in rush hour because it's a loss for them anyway.

costco is a supermarket why are you eating at the supermarket and complaining it's not a full restaurants menu? do you live in a corn field with no other food options?

I occasionally buy their premarinaded chicken wings/legs and they're pretty banging

canuck here, I'd trade the tendies for churros or the chicken bake any day. the poutine is mediocre too

we got montreal smoked meat sandwiches now though, haven't tried it though

i wish some of the costcos near me sold the supreme pizzas, my dad used to buy a pizza practically every weekend between us, and even later we would just laugh at each other as we ate cold pizza that we didnt finish

>costco needs to go the disney route and just start increasing membership costs to price out some of the poors.

The amount of arbitrage pools and Bubba taco shop/restaurant wholesaling is insaneβ€” it's overcrowded, and depopulating the low end will only increase gas sales' margins, now that people can actually reliably always go there to fill up during business hours.

I'm a proud Patriot citizen of the United States of America and I would get down on my knees and fellate a cosco CEO to get poutine permanently added to the Costco food courts in my area. I only go to Costco once every couple months, but I would get a poutine every time. I generally hate canada and canadians but I don't understand why poutine isn't more popular here, it's the perfect sloppa meal.

I had a slice at 199 a bit a go but they where huge for slices. one slice there is the same as a place that sells you a slice at 4.99 elsewhere. I have to assume that they use some kind of cheese crumble instead of pure mozza at that price point, but it was good and filling, made me sleepy.
