Bacon wrapped around things is almost always disappointingly floppy and chewy. Unless I'm the one making it I'll go with the nekkid dog.

This. I want grill marks and smoke outside, OR I want griddled inside, and I'll butterfly them for the skillet, to sear up those middle surfaces too.

Barring that, prick with a fork and nuke it until a bit overdone.

I want Howards on my home dogs, raw onion, touch of spicy brown or hot mustard. I'm also toasting my bun too.

That relish looks pretty good, will have to look for it. Toasted bun is a must. I hate mustard so usually top with a butt load of onions and some ketchup, but perfer to make new york onion sauce.
