I've sen them for $20 at the grocery store. I wanted to try, but it's too expensive and I've never tried it before and it's huge. It'd be a huge disappointment and honestly 20 bucks can get me so much more stuff, including fruit. Hard to justify with such a heavy price due to importing.

I used to like durian as a kid when we still lived in Chingchongland but I had some a few years ago and didn't like it anymore. Same thing happened with century eggs.

I think for girls it to this day, despite all "gender role" discussion bs, is common to from low age style your little girl and teach her how to do it.
First play makeup cabinet with little glitter lipstick and mascara and powder etc. with 5 years and at school age she knows all there is know about applying makeup.
I think it's done very decently in that vid, if at all. She looks natural, not like a Barbie doll.

It's not really the same. The soap taste is absent from cilantro for most people, whereas with durian or stinky cheese EVERYONE will admit those foods are stinky. It's more of an acquired taste than it is a genetic thing.

[spoiler]While having a cook-out with a friend's family, we made grilled veggie kebabs and asparagus to go with the rest of the meal. My friend's kid immediately complained about veggies while my friend tried to bribe them with ice cream afterwards to get them to eat it. My kids followed suit, saying they didn't want to eat it either. I asked my kids why, and all of the kids stated that veggies are gross. I told them I agreed, I think veggies are gross too, and started eating the kebabs and veggies exclusively. When they asked me why I would eat something gross, I told replied that even though they're gross, they're good for me, and it's important to eat things, and even do things, we don't enjoy because it's good for us. My kids eventually sampled the veggies and were surprised they were "pretty okay", and then my friend's kid followed suit without needing to be bribed anymore.[/spoiler]
