They CAN be bought at regular stores sometimes, especially if it's some diaspora/immigrant place outside of Russia or CIS countries' territories, but it's not a common thing, as their main places of distribution are medical adjusted, apothecaries/drug stores, clinics, hospitals, even dental occasionally.

Depends on manufacturer and type (since some can be made in "Forte" fashion, where "forte" means "x2 power/amount", essentially double "dosage" of vitamins/minerals), but usually gematogen bar is quite rich in iron by default. I dunno about that particular brand from OP's pic, but a standard Russian gematogen bar from an average apothecary or a clinic weights in at 40~50g per bar, since that's a standard daily amount for children consumption according to the Russia's health ministry standard, and it averages at 8~12.5 mg of iron per one bar, sometimes slightly less (down to about 5.5 mg) depending on brand or "type" (since there can be "lighter" ones aimed at younger ages).

I think you're misunderstanding the concept.
It's obvious that no one in their sane mind would be stuffing themselves or their children with 10+ bars of these every single day. A usual recommended daily dose for kids is 40~50g, which is usually just one single bar. An adult usually doesn't eat more than two a day, tops.
This is a supplementary dietary bonus to your or your children's everyday normal meal and diet, since you already get most vitamins and minerals from standard food, like actual meat products and dishes, fruits and vegetables, grains, juices/teas/coffee/mineral water, etc. These bars are merely an addition to that, to help the organism in case if you're having anemia or lost much blood recently due to different reasons. In Russian medical field, prescribing or recommending these for people who donor blood regularly, is essentially a must, but it doesn't mean they tell you to ONLY eat these all day long 24/7/365. Just have common sense.
