How does Chick Fil A nail all of these on the head when almost every other fast food restaurant is the complete opposite?

I have a friend who currently works Chick Fil A and he says out of all the fast food restaurants he has worked at Chick Fil A is by far his favorite because they have good management who don't tolerate any nonsense from their employees. If they are lazy and don't want to work, they don't get any hours, and their hours are instead given to employees who do want to work.

This is a good thing, owners need to be involved in the day to day business. Limits the variability in quality that you see in other chains.

Every chick-fil-a I've been to has only white people (mostly teens) working there, and I live in a very non-white area.

They're more strict with franchisees. Some restaurants you pay the fee and then you're free to run the restaurant as poorly as you want. In Chick Fil A's case corporate will do pretty regular checkups and if word gets back about a franchise being run like garbage your ass is basically toast.

It's got nothing to do with management style at the store level.
It's privately owned, which means it isn't ruled by the need to increase a stock price.
Basically all publicly traded companies have a duty not just to be profitable but to always be MORE profitable than before. They need to grow to increase the stock price. Eventually you reach a point where you can't do that without making drastic cuts and abusing workers in long ugly death spiral.
Chick fil a just needs to maintain profitability, which means they can afford to hire people at a decent wage and well-staff locations and keep the quality of the food high and offer good benefits to retain quality workers.

You have to work at your store fulltime. You don't buy a Chick-fil-a, you buy a job as a manager. The initial investment is small but you are expected to work there at least 40 hours per week (more if you don't hire enough help) and the cut the company takes is much larger than other chains. Want to take a vacation? You have to have it approved by CFA HQ in Atlanta. Out sick? You must let Atlanta know. They check frequently to ensure local operators are keeping up to company standards, including working the store fulltime.

They hire people grateful to have work. The easy way to tell if a fast food restaurant will be good is to check the staff for teenagers and people speaking Spanish with Central American accents. You have to be reasonably conscientious/intelligent to balance a job and high school or illegally immigrate to the US then scrape by in poverty wages.
If you see any non-teenage person speaking unaccented English, you simply leave and go to the next location.

hi fat fucks, another good thing cfa is good at, is having food that isn't exceptionally high in calories, carbs, or saturated fats. so you're able to enjoying eating out, without having to feel guilty for eating 40g of saturated fats from in and out

Beef is a headache. It’s expensive and margins on it are terrible. Chicken’s no picnic either because it can get people so sick… but chicken cooked on the surface of the sun is less well done than at Chick fil A. So that solved that problem.

The food is objectively awful. I go there a lot and 9/10 times I only order the $1.50 ice cream cone, which is actually a good deal. The rare times I get a sandwich I quickly am reminded why I never order their food (though the pimento thing they do in spring is kinda decent).

But they haul ass man. If you move people through like they do you can afford narrow margins. I’m surprised they even run the dining areas, that must be some mandate for corporate because it seems like a pain in the ass.

The one that really baffles me though is Culver’s, which is delivering an obnoxiously high quality product with better cleanliness/service than CFA. Their prices are high, I guess that makes it worth their while.
