Pork ball soup and papaya salad.

Spicy fried pork ball wrapped with sweet chili sauce.

Pork veggie stir fry. Yum and healthy.

Very slow cooked fermented pork belly and a Thai vegetable (don’t know the name) very unique taste. Haven’t had this one for a while.

Traditional presentation. Includes pickled mustard.

Here’s some more gumbo. Not Thai obviously. That was a decent overview of what we cooked recently but not fully comprehensive. She cooks this delicious beef curry for me that is unreal but don’t have photos of that one right now. Hope you guys enjoyed.

There was a rice shortage and the government wanted to promote people eating noodles instead of rice. So they took a Fujian dish, and called it Pad Thai.

Then in 2000 they made a huge marketing push to promote their cuisine, the government literally created a state owned restaurant company and opened Thai restaurants across the world and also invented more dishes.
