My town recently enacted a .20 cent bag tax, so I keep bags in my car and just have them load the groceries back into the cart after scanning them. I put the groceries into the bags in my trunk, and then push the cart all the way across the parking lot so they have to go get it. I call it the cart tax.

I have my groceries delivered to my door at 5am, it costs me an extra $4 and saves me like 2 hours of bullshit shopping, driving, parking, and driving again. So much time and QoL saved.

However, when it comes to butcher, deli, fish, and produce I do buy that shit in person because the warehouse robot is fucking useless when it comes to picking out anything fresh like that

I'd bring some shitty bags in to have them load em up in a cumbersome manner just by principle. Just intentionally a tiny bit too small to make it really annoying, then when they load it up badly I swap out for their regular bags and pay the 20 cents so they have to redo the bill. Fucking cheapskates.
