this is real though. bongladeshi food is like french food made wrong as a joke. for example I wanted to give bongolian food a fair chance even though I make fun of it all the time so I found a recipe for beef stew with beer. it looked super bland though so I decided to kick it up a bit with a few extra ingredients and more of a french style. it ended up tasting great, but I realized I had basically made carbonade. pretty much every dreadful br*tish dish can be turned into real food with only a few chances and better technique. I guess they insist on making it wrong because of tradition or something.
